Flipmind built the eCommerce platform behind Bonfire — New Zealand’s prepaid Mastercard gift card. Shoppers browse a catalogue of card designs, load each card with any amount in increments of a dollar, and order up to 40 cards at a time through a five-step checkout covering selection, delivery and payment.
Security runs through the whole journey — every card is delivered inactive and unlocked with a four-digit activation code emailed to the buyer, so it stays safe in transit. Once activated, a Bonfire card can be spent anywhere Mastercard is accepted: in-store, online and over the phone, in New Zealand and worldwide. Alongside the online store, the platform powers cardholder accounts and balance checks, a find-a-retailer directory covering PAK’nSAVE, New World and selected retailers nationwide, and bulk ordering for business rewards and incentives.
